Having just arrived from the airport via taxi, a mellow Teebs strolled through the door and was more than happy to perform a couple of tracks for us. Still wearing his coat and armed with his Roland SP 404 Teebs played a couple of live versions of tracks from his latest album release ESTARA.
With everything running perfectly to schedule, Lapalux had all the time in the world to take us through an emotional journey of his fragmented and textured soundscapes. Not fully anticipating the raw sub bass weight Stuart was about to unleash, we naively set up our cameras. Only to find that nowhere was safe from the sheer power of his kick!
Briefly back in the UK, Teebs set about giving us a treat with his second session for Soundcheck.
This time armed with two SP404's he set about playing extended live versions of tracks from his albums ESTARA and Adour. But it didn't stop there, he started to play with new unreleased material. Only to leave us gutted when the sound tech walked in frame to stop the session so the doors could open!
In Europe on tour with PBDY as JP Moregun, Jeremiah had some time to link up to do a session with us. Playing "Giorna" from his EP "The Decline of Black Anakin" we were in for a special treat with Jeremiah dropping "Boss Up" a super raw previously unreleased track.
